Carver County Jail Roster

The official county information page says the roster updates every two hours through the day. Update times listed in the research run from midnight through 10:00 p.m. at two-hour intervals. A person may not appear until intake is completed and a booking number has been assigned, so a very recent arrest can be missing even when the person is physically at the jail.
The direct public roster is the Carver County Jail Roster. The roster is a county GIS and digital-docs application rather than a vendor-branded sheriff app. The research did not locate an official Carver County sheriff mobile app with jail or warrant lookup tools. A City of Carver app and a county parks app were found in source review, but no official sheriff app-only inmate search was documented.

The roster works best when the searcher starts broad. Because the fields are text filters, a full name may be less useful than a last name or partial name when spelling is uncertain. Carver County Inmate Profile Fields
The official roster and its public CSV data source show a focused custody profile. The inspected source did not show mugshots, housing pod, height, weight, sex, race, eye color, hair color, date of birth, warrant number, or judge. That absence should be treated as a real limit of the local roster, not a missing step.

Carver County Jail Contacts
The Carver County Sheriff's Office and jail services are based at the Justice Services address in Chaska. The research provided sheriff main, non-emergency, jail visitation scheduling, and sheriff records contacts. Those channels serve different needs: immediate safety and dispatch questions go through non-emergency or emergency channels, visitation scheduling goes through jail staff, and data requests go through the records unit.

Carver County Booking Status
Booking is the point where jail data begins to become a public roster record. The county research states that individuals may not appear until intake is completed and a booking number is assigned. That makes timing important. A person arrested by the Carver County Sheriff's Office, Chaska Police, or another local agency may be in process before a public roster row appears. The roster update schedule also means a recently cleared or released inmate may remain visible until the next update cycle.
Charges in the roster are jail custody data. They may include controlled-substance possession, possession of burglary or theft tools, domestic assault, DWI under the influence of a controlled substance, or third-degree DWI, based on examples seen in the live data during research. The court record can differ because prosecutors may amend, reduce, dismiss, or add charges after review. The full criminal case file belongs to District Court after filing.

Carver County Inmate Visitation
Carver County inmate visitation requires an appointment by calling jail staff at (952) 361-1145. Visitors must be at least 18 unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. The research did not capture a complete day-of-week visitation schedule or a local video-visit price list. Contact jail staff before travel, because approval-list timing and ID rules can block a visit even when the person is listed on the roster.
Carver County Inmate Calls
Carver County uses NCIC Inmate Communications for prepaid calling services. Incoming calls to inmates cannot be received. Each inmate has telephone access after completing booking, and private-use phones are located in each housing area. That means a person who has just been arrested may not be able to call until booking is complete, even though family or counsel may already be checking custody status.
Commissary and inmate deposits use Turnkey Commissary through TEAM3.InmateCanteen.com.
